Duty Station:  Mpanga Tea Factory

Job Role: Monitor, operate and maintain the drier in good mechanical condition, and ensure that required temperatures is generated for the drier in line with the production needs and schedules

Job description

1. Supervise the drying of tea ensuring the quality standards and guidelines set by the Company
2. Supervise the performance of workers in line with HR policies
3. Document and maintain up-to-date records of the drying section

Person specification:

Qualification and Experience:

• Uganda Certificate of Education
• Minimum of two years’ experience in drier operations preferably a Factory
• Knowledge of;
  • Drier operation and maintenance
  • Machine operation
  • Tea drying
  • Fluid flow
  • Drying principles and techniques

Skills and Abilities:

• Communication skills
• Record keeping
